What does patient silence cost your hospital?

Most discharged patients are never asked how it went. The unhappy ones tell Google and WhatsApp instead, and the next family reads it. This puts a rough number on that, with every assumption out in the open so you can change it.

Estimated cost a year
₹8,00,000
Families choosing another hospital10 a month · ₹7,20,000
Complaints handled late₹80,000
CareLoop costs ₹24,999 a month. At ₹6,000 a visit, it pays for itself if it keeps 5 families a month from going elsewhere — fewer than the 10 this estimate says you lose.

Where the starting numbers come from

2% of families choosing elsewhere is our own estimate, the same one behind the homepage figure for a hospital discharging 400 to 600 patients a month. Families compare Google ratings, and ratings are written mostly by patients who had a bad day, because nobody asked the rest.

₹6,000 a visit is a typical figure for a mid-sized private hospital. Use your own average revenue per admission or OPD visit.

₹40,000 for a late complaint is the low end of what it takes once a complaint escalates (legal time, admin hours, management attention). Serious cases cost far more. A same-day phone call usually costs nothing.

These are illustrative estimates, not published research. Change them to your hospital's numbers; the calculator does the rest.

What CareLoop changes, and what it doesn't

CareLoop asks every consenting patient one question on WhatsApp after discharge, gets unhappy replies to your grievance officer in about two minutes, and sends every patient who replies the same review invitation, whatever they scored. It does not guarantee a number of families saved; it makes sure you hear about the bad day while one phone call can still fix it.

Pricing is one plan: ₹24,999 a month plus a one-time ₹9,999 setup per location, for up to 800 discharges a month. Larger hospitals or more locations: quoted from ₹34,999. See pricing.
